Siberian Sour Sauce

Siberian Sour Sauce

Yield: 1 batch




1 ea onion sliced thin
1 oz vodka
1/2 c rice vinegar
4 tb sugar
4 tb soy sauce
1 ts dried red chili pepper chopped

Soak your onion slices in cold water for 30-45 mins.
Remove from water then put into a colander & drain well.
Set onion slices aside.
Mix soy sauce, sugar, vinegar vodka & red pepper flakes in a sauce pan over on low-heat.
When your sugar dissolves turn off your heat.
Set aside to use with meats, poultry or seafood.
